Navigators' founder, Kathleen "Kathy" Hand, is a paralegal who
obtained her legal assistant certificate in 1983 and has worked in the
legal field for over thirty years. Kathy’s work-related legal experience
has led her to form Legal Navigators. Under Colorado law, paralegals have
restrictions and limitations, such as, not giving legal advice, choosing
legal documents which you believe are appropriate for another individual
(without supervision of an attorney), drafting legal documents (without
supervision of an attorney), interpreting the law (without supervision
of an attorney), representation in any legal transaction. Legal Navigators
can provide legal assistance to individuals through on-site attorneys,
and can provide clerical assistance to the public. Kathy is focused and
